Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC), recently opened its doors for state agencies to view the capabilities for people with disabilities first hand.
DRTC, Oklahoma’s oldest and largest community vocational training and employment center for people with disabilities, holds mandatory state use contracts through its divisions Prism Place (awards & trophies) and Wyman Frame (picture frames).
Nearly 60 people from various agencies attended the event, including U.S. Congressman Steve Russell and State Representative Jason Dunnington. Attendees learned about DRTC’s mission and divisions, and toured part of the main campus based in Oklahoma City.
Here’s what some of those who visited had to say about their experience:
“I enjoyed the event and seeing how items are produced.”
“Carla is a genius! I want her to re-do every pic in my office.. and my house!”
“This was an awesome opportunity to meet face-to-face those that I deal with via phone or via email.”
DRTC’s divisions are open to the general public. Whether you’re looking for promotional items for your business, awards and trophies or picture framing, come check us out and learn how you can provide meaningful work opportunities for people with disabilities.
